launched a new wellness programme giving guests the opportunity to learn the secrets behind
the spa’s renowned Thai massage and Thai Stretching treatments.
Every Wednesday from 10am-10.45am, guests can learn Thai Massage, often called Thai Yoga
Massage, with the spa’s expert therapists in the comfort of the Devarana Sanctuary.
Considered a part of traditional Thai medicine, Thai massage combines elements of yoga,
meditation, acupressure and assisted stretching to relieve physical and emotional
tension. Research has shown that Thai massage can increase physical energy levels, relieve
headaches, stimulate circulation and improve range of motion.
Every Saturday from 10am – 10.45am, guests can also learn traditional Thai Stretching postures
typical to the ancient “Rusie Dotton” method, also known as the Hermit’s Body Twist. These
