The Park Room will be serving a quintessentially Royal British Afternoon Tea. Offering decadent filled finger sandwiches, tiny brioche buns topped with salmon, caviar and the freshest scones, cream and jam, and a Top Tier of hand crafted pastries created in house to include mouth-watering cakes with titles such as The Invictus, The LA Special, Trilogy Ring, Tier 2 or a Myrtle Bouquet – just a few of the innovative names to describe Executive Pastry Chef Dale DeSimone’s themed culinary delights that will be served from 12.30 pm until 6pm. Price is £42.50, with a glass of Veuve Clicquot an additional £16, a Glass of Nyetimber an additional £22 or alternatively a glass of Billecart Salmon Rose which will be an additional £29. Children’s Grover’s Afternoon Tea available too for £15 per child.
Grosvenor House, A JW Marriott Hotel London, will also host the next literati event in partnership with Simon and Schuster. Acclaimed royal biographer Ingrid Seward will be talking about her latest literary sensation, My Husband and I, documenting the inside story of 70 years of the Royal Marriage. Taking the traditional book club idea one step further, Literati gives the unique opportunity for external guests and hotel residents to interact with leading authors in an elegant setting at Grosvenor House.
The elegant surroundings of the Albemarle Suite within Grosvenor House is the perfect location for this Royal evening, with a reception hosted by Lanson. This event is particularly pertinent as Champagne Lanson has been an extremely proud supplier of the Royal Household since 1901. Just a year before the end of her reign, Queen Victoria awarded Champagne Lanson the Royal Warrant and have retained this ever since. Tickets including a signed book priced at £20, please see link for more information.
