LUXE City Center, the hotel synonymous with lavish accommodations and excellent service, right in the heart of Los Angeles, is once again leveraging their central, downtown location by modernizing their ballroom event spaces to fit every occasion. The AAA Four-Diamond hotel is proud to announce three newly renovated venues, the Angeleno Room, Figueroa and Olympic Ballroom, and Patio Lounge, evoking city allure to capture truly memorable events in the heart of LA.
From urban weddings to social events, LUXE City Center infuses each event with city’s electric energy. The newly refurbished Angeleno Room offers an always entertaining backdrop of one of the city’s hottest attractions: L.A. Live. Whether day or night, the 1,300 square foot venue’s customizable vibrant wall lighting offsets the pulse of the event center’s glimmering trademark signs. With multiple options for traditional or soft seating, the Angeleno Room is the ideal downtown location to host a small meeting, private dinner or festive party or reception. Guests of the hotel can also enjoy breakfast in the Angeleno Room throughout the week.
The 3,000 square foot Figueroa and Olympic Ballroom has undergone extensive redesign, performing as a blank slate for completely personalized events. The Ballroom boasts floor-to-ceiling glass doors to allow natural light or the glow of the evening skyline to stream in. For an added element of surprise, these doors also open up to an 2,600 square foot outdoor terrace Patio Lounge, where mingling guests can continue the chatter over cocktails and bustling views of L.A. Live.
Whether a city wedding reception, radio rock concert or the launch party for a new product, the hotel’s second floor Patio Lounge can be custom tailored for each event. A fully-stocked private bar can be arranged for private events, serving the crowds gathered around outdoor fire features and watching crowds at the Staples Center. Nixo keeps any party going well into the evening, and group room rates allow for guests to enjoy libations with the convenient option to stay the night.
The hotel also features an 8,400 square foot north parking lot, the perfect venue for large-scale events such as car shows, concerts, team building or other public activations. Directly off of Figueroa and Olympic Boulevard, the blank space sets a stage for one-of-a-kind events.
The hotel is also developing a shuttle service that will launch in late Spring, transporting guests to and from locations within a three-mile radius, perfect for holiday parties and corporate events.
“Adding the new touches to our ballroom, Nixo Patio Lounge and the Angeleno room gives our guests an elevated LUXE City Center experience – creating unforgettable events for local residents, business community and visiting groups,” said Mike Larson, Vice President of Operations. “Our dedicated team of associates is proud to present this new space and look forward to taking care of every guest’s need, matching our updated AAA Four-Diamond amenities.”
LUXE City Center Hotel provides endless catering options, from passed hors d\\\'oeuvres, family-style meals or multi-course affairs, from award-winning, television competitor Chef Ben Diaz (Cutthroat Kitchen, Farmer’s Market Flip, Chef Wanted). Event planners can choose from flavorful dishes like Mahi Mahi Sliders with ginger hoisin and smoked gouda, Flatbreads with tomatillo salsa, mozzarella, fried egg and chorizo, and Seared Scallops with cantaloupe, prosciutto, pea shoots and hominy crust.
A downtown favorite for business and leisure travelers, these new additions and renovations continue to propel the LUXE City Center’s Four-Diamond level service and accommodation.
